“It was the morning of our last recording session and I had space for one more song on Thirst,” Ross recalls. “It was one of those rare songs that just come through without much effort—as if from some place else. I recall that I simply went home in my head for a few minutes and the mythology of the place just came through.”

Unearthed Soundtrack
In the origin tales of most cultures on Earth, there are legends of ascended masters, intermediaries to the gods or visiting teachers. Hard not to get inspired with a premise like that.
